
B HODL Plc (AQUIS: HODL), a UK-listed company focused on Bitcoin accumulation and revenue generation from its holdings, announced the purchase of an additional six Bitcoin as part of its ongoing treasury strategy.

According to the company’s disclosure, the acquisition was completed at an average price of £85,833 (US$114,619) per Bitcoin, for a total consideration of £515,000.
Following the transaction, B HODL’s total holdings increased to 142 Bitcoin, with an aggregate average purchase price of £84,790 (US$113,227) per Bitcoin and a cumulative cost basis of £12,040,242.
B HODL reported a cash balance of £3.0 million, which includes funds designated for operational expenses and potential future Bitcoin purchases, consistent with its previously stated strategy.
At the time of its market admission, Blockstream CEO Adam Back held a 25.53% stake in B HODL.
Other early shareholders included CoinCorner, Rise Investments, and several additional backers.
B HODL said it aims to maintain a long-term Bitcoin reserve while seeking to generate revenue through participation in the Lightning Network, a second-layer solution for processing Bitcoin transactions.
The company stated that it earns income through routing and liquidity fees within the network.
Commenting on the potential of Lightning-based yield, Danny Scott, Chief Bitcoin Officer at B HODL, said:

B HODL stated that it plans to continue expanding its Lightning Network operations and developing infrastructure to support the network’s growth as part of its broader treasury management approach.
