CoinCorner, a Bitcoin and Lightning Network solutions platform, has teamed up with Lolly, a hospitality software provider, to integrate Bitcoin payments into the LollyPoS system.

This collaboration is set to revolutionize industry payment methods by smoothly integrating Bitcoin Lightning transactions into the current infrastructure.

As a result of their combined efforts, the LollyPoS system can now handle Bitcoin transactions for food and beverages alongside traditional payment methods like cash and cards.

When choosing a payment method at the till, customers now have the choice of clicking on the CoinCorner payment icon, which then displays a QR code on the back screen. This code allows customers to initiate a transaction via the Bitcoin Lightning Network, an enhanced solution built for faster and cheaper Bitcoin transactions.

Danny Scott, CoinCorner's CEO, expressed, “we’re excited to be partnering with Lolly to bring Bitcoin payments to more businesses.”

He added that integrating both Bitcoin and traditional payments into a single POS offers a vastly improved user experience for businesses and customers alike.

Expressing his views on this collaboration, Peter Moore, the CEO of Lolly, mentioned, “we’re always looking ahead, and we’re excited to be debuting Bitcoin payments in our sector. With super-fast transaction speeds, and the hospitality providers seeing transactions in pounds sterling, these types of payment pose no risk to them – so it’s a win-win.”

Moore also explained that it is rewarding to collaborate with CoinCorner, a reputable name in the industry. The company aligns with their perspective that Bitcoin signifies the future of payments.
