On February 8th, 2022 - Compute North announced a $385MM raise to help fund the development of new U.S based data centers with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.

The round was co-led by Mercuria and Generate Capital with additional investors including National Grid Partners

Compute North aims to accelerate the transition towards renewable energy by  partnering with the world's most recognized energy companies that leverage wind, solar, and carbon-free assets for its facilities. The company says its data centers meet the highest energy efficiency standards in the industry.
