Semler Scientific disclosed the purchase of 165 Bitcoin between April 25th and April 29th, 2025, spending a total of $15.7 million at an average cost of $94,931 per coin, including fees.

This latest acquisition was funded through its ongoing at-the-market equity program, which generated roughly $19.5 million in net proceeds from the sale of 559,000 shares during the same period.

With this move, Semler’s Bitcoin holdings have grown to 3,467 Bitcoin, accumulated at a total cost of $306.1 million. 

The company's average purchase price stands at $88,263 per Bitcoin, while the current market value of its position is estimated at $330 million.

Since initiating its Bitcoin strategy in May 2024, Semler has relied on a mix of stock sales, debt issuance, and internal capital to build its treasury. 

The company is now recognized as the second publicly traded U.S. firm to make Bitcoin its core treasury asset.

Semler’s Bitcoin investments have returned 23.8% year-to-date, underscoring the firm’s bullish stance on digital assets amid rising institutional adoption and increasing inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs.
