Coinbits, the earliest Bitcoin-only company still around today, has partnered with Paybis to create a user-friendly widget on its website that makes it easy to buy Bitcoin. The site accepts credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers to buy Bitcoin using a variety of fiat currencies. Once the purchase settles, the Bitcoin is sent directly to the purchaser’s wallet.

"We understand the importance of self-custody and the value our members place on it," said Dave Birnbaum, Director of Product at Coinbits. "By enabling direct-to-wallet purchases right on our website with no login required, we're not only streamlining the process but also supporting the security and autonomy of our members."

Saifedean Ammous, the author of "The Bitcoin Standard," recommends Coinbits as the best way to introduce friends and family to Bitcoin.

Coinbits is preparing to relaunch its flagship web app after overhauling its technology stack. The new experience will focus on flexible financial services for Bitcoin, with a strong emphasis on self-custody.
