New Chipotle Promotion Encourages Customers To Buy the Dip
Chipotle is no stranger to promoting their brand through Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. As per this press release, Chipotle has announced today that it will give away more than $200,000 in free Bitcoin and crypto to its users as well as provide promo codes for 1-cent guac and 1-cent Queso Blanco.
This new initiative called “Buy The Dip,” started today at 10am PT and will go on until July 31st (National Avocado Day) 6pm PT. Customers who participate in the “Buy The Dip”' promotion will have a chance to win every day prizes in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Here is the breakdown for prizes:
Everyday until July 31st, five participants will win $2,000 worth of Bitcoin per day. On the final day, five customers have the opportunity to win $5,000 worth of Bitcoin, and one other participant may be eligible to win up to $10,000 in BTC, for a total of $35,000 in Bitcoin rewards. The rest of the rewards will be distributed as other cryptocurrencies.

Earlier in June, Chipotle started accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies thanks to their partnership with Flexa. Flexa is a global leader in pure-digital payments and enables customers at Chipotle the ability to pay in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies through its app.
In April of last year, Chipotle did a similar promotion where it distributed $100,000 worth of Bitcoin to celebrate National Burrito Day in what was called “Burritos or Bitcoin.” Due to this, Chipotle became the first U.S. restaurant to launch a Bitcoin giveaway.
For anyone who would want to participate in the “Buy The Dip” promotion, a few conditions need to be satisfied. The promotion is only available for U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older. Moreover, they need to have a Chipotle Rewards account and the overall limit to enter for a chance to win is set to one entry per person per day. More information may be found on their website.
