
Strategy increased its holdings with a fresh 1,955 Bitcoin purchase worth about $217.4 million, according to a U.S. SEC filing.

The acquisition was made between September 2nd and 7th at an average of $111,196 per coin, as Bitcoin briefly pushed past $113,000 before easing lower.
With this buy, Strategy now holds 638,460 Bitcoin as of September 7th, acquired for roughly $47.17 billion at an average cost of $73,880 per coin.
The company reported a year-to-date BTC yield of 25.8% for 2025.
The purchase was funded through three of Strategy’s at-the-market equity programs, including Series A Strife (STRF), Series A Strike (STRK), and common shares (MSTR).
Additionally, despite speculation, Strategy was not added to the S&P 500 last week.
Instead, Robinhood, AppLovin, and Emcor Group were selected, with changes set to take effect September 22nd.
ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted the decision ultimately rests with a “secretive committee.”
