Michael Saylor’s Strategy has increased its position as the largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, purchasing 6,220 Bitcoin for approximately $739.8 million during the week ending July 14th, according to a new SEC filing.

The latest accumulation occurred as Bitcoin briefly topped $122,000 before dipping to a low near $116,000 and stabilizing around $118,000.

Strategy’s average purchase price was $118,940 per coin.

With this acquisition, Strategy now holds 607,770 Bitcoin, acquired for a total cost of about $43.6 billion at an average of $71,756 per Bitcoin.

Saylor noted that the firm’s year-to-date Bitcoin yield rose from 20.2% to 20.8%, stating it is now “just 4.2% away from the 25% target,” which had originally been set at 15%.

Strategy introduced its proprietary Bitcoin yield metric in August 2024 to measure the growth in Bitcoin holdings relative to assumed diluted shares.

That metric reached a peak of 74.3% earlier this year.
