Strategy, the world’s largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, reported the purchase of 168 Bitcoin for approximately $18.8 million during a period of increased market volatility following the Black Friday sell-off on October 10th.

According to a disclosure shared by the company on X on Monday, the acquisition was completed at an average price of $112,051 per Bitcoin.
Following this transaction, Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings stand at 640,418 Bitcoin, acquired for about $47.4 billion at an average price of $74,010 per Bitcoin.
In August and September, Strategy purchased 7,714 Bitcoin and 3,526 Bitcoin respectively, averaging roughly 5,620 Bitcoin per month.
If that rate continues, the company could reach 700,000 Bitcoin within the next year.
The 168 Bitcoin purchase follows a 220 Bitcoin acquisition the previous week valued at $27.2 million.
That earlier transaction occurred as Bitcoin briefly reached a record high above $126,000 before declining to around $110,000 during the October 10th market correction.
