
Strive Inc. purchased 1,800 Bitcoin for approximately $143 million during the week ended August 28th, raising its holdings to 23,156 Bitcoin, according to an August 31st filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The acquisition price averaged about $79,431 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
Based on the $77,523 market price cited in the company’s accompanying graphic, Strive’s Bitcoin holdings were worth approximately $1.80 billion at 4 p.m. Eastern on August 28th.
Strive also reported $183.5 million in cash and cash equivalents and 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock, valued at approximately $49.2 million.
During the same week, outstanding Class A common shares increased by about 3.58 million to 83.47 million, while outstanding SATA preferred shares rose by 803,099 to approximately 9.07 million.
Although the filing did not directly link those issuances to the acquisition, it is estimated that proceeds from the additional SATA shares funded the purchase of more than 1,000 of the 1,800 Bitcoin.
