Strive Inc. purchased an additional 20 Bitcoin for approximately $1.26 million during the final week of July, increasing its total holdings to 20,020 Bitcoin.

The company paid an average of approximately $63,191 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses, for purchases made between July 27th and July 31st. 

Strive disclosed the transaction in an August 3rd filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

At Bitcoin’s reported price of $62,924 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on July 31st, the company’s holdings were valued at approximately $1.26 billion.

Strive also reported that its cash and cash equivalents declined from $154 million on July 24th to $151.3 million on July 31st. The filing did not attribute the entire $2.7 million decrease to the Bitcoin purchase.

The company continued to hold 505,000 shares of Strategy Inc.’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock, which trades under the ticker STRC. 

The reported fair value of that position increased from approximately $43.88 million to $45.18 million during the same period.

Strive’s outstanding Class A common shares rose by 110,000 to approximately 74.42 million, while its Class B share count remained unchanged at approximately 9.79 million. 

The company reported approximately 84.21 million effective common shares outstanding and 86.8 million shares on an assumed fully diluted basis.
