According to the company’s Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Bitcoin was purchased for approximately $185.2 million at an average acquisition price of roughly $74,092 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
The filing stated that Strive’s Bitcoin holdings increased from 16,500 Bitcoin as of May 22nd to 19,000 Bitcoin as of June 1st.
Cash and cash equivalents increased from approximately $93.3 million to $137.3 million during the same period.
Strive further reported a quarter-to-date BTC Yield of 23.0%, a year-to-date BTC Yield of 36.7%, and an amplification ratio of 57.0%.
According to the company, the increase in cash was intended to maintain an 18-month dividend reserve.
Strive trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker ASST, while its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock trades under the ticker SATA.
