Bitqik is a licensed digital asset exchange in Laos that offers Bitcoin and cryptocurrency brokerage and trading services, including the ability for users to send and receive digital assets.

According to the companies, the initiative will involve the creation of online educational content targeted at students, as well as quarterly in-person events in several Laotian cities, including Vientiane, Pakse, Vang Vieng, and Luang Prabang.
These events are expected to focus on practical use cases for stablecoins and blockchain technology.
The program is structured to reach an estimated 10,000 participants through a combination of seminars, roadshows, and digital materials.
The companies stated that the effort is intended to increase general familiarity with stablecoins and digital assets in the Lao market.
CEO of Tether Paolo Ardoino said the collaboration is intended to support digital asset education in Laos by improving understanding of stablecoins and providing practical knowledge to help communities engage with the digital economy.
CEO of Bitqik Virasack Viravong said Bitqik plans to conduct educational programs through its Bitqik Academy to teach the Lao community about blockchain technology, Bitcoin, and stablecoins, with activities scheduled to continue through 2026.
