El Salvador's government, in collaboration with Tether, has launched a new initiative called the "Adopting El Salvador Freedom Visa Program."
This program seeks individuals to contribute to El Salvador's development in various sectors including culture, technology, and economy. It offers participants the opportunity to obtain a Salvadoran Passport and involves a role in the nation's growth and development.
The CEO of Tether, Paolo Ardoino, has highlighted the importance of this partnership in assisting cities and communities in achieving financial and technological innovation.
Tether aims to use its technology and expertise to promote growth and innovation in El Salvador, enhancing the region's infrastructure and societal progress.
El Salvador’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adriana Mira, has also commented on the collaboration's significance for the country's economic and technological development. The program is seen as a way for individuals to contribute to the country's prosperity.
The initiative includes social development projects such as improving educational and medical facilities, and improving infrastructure like transportation and communication networks. These projects are intended to benefit the Salvadoran community and position the country as a leader in progress in Central America.
The application process for the program requires a $999 USD non-refundable deposit in Bitcoin or USDt, with KYC procedures for all applicants.
Upon acceptance, this deposit contributes towards the necessary $1 million investment in Bitcoin or USDt for obtaining the Freedom Visa and citizenship. This investment is part of the participant's involvement in El Salvador's development.
The program also allows for family applications, enabling relatives to join in the nation's development efforts.
