The company reported that the Bitcoin was acquired at an average price of £83,258 (approximately $111,591) per coin, for a total consideration of £832,584.
Following the transaction, its total holdings increased to 2,660 Bitcoin, acquired at an overall average cost of £82,858 ($111,054) per coin.
The cumulative cost basis of the company’s Bitcoin holdings now stands at £220,402,717.
According to the filing, the purchase was made as part of “The 10 Year Plan,” the company’s ongoing treasury strategy involving periodic Bitcoin acquisitions.
The Smarter Web Company also reported a quarter-to-date BTC Yield of 1.70%, defined as the percentage change in the ratio of total Bitcoin holdings to fully diluted shares outstanding over a specific period.
The Smarter Web Company provides web design, development, and online marketing services. The firm began accepting Bitcoin payments in 2023 and has incorporated a Bitcoin Treasury Policy into its financial operations.
The company also stated that it is considering acquisition opportunities aimed at expanding its client base and recurring revenue streams.
