During the Bitcoin Amsterdam conference, Trezor unveiled three products related to Bitcoin security. These include the "Trezor Safe 3" hardware wallet and a special edition of the same model, solely for Bitcoin.
The company also presented the "Trezor Keep Family," which consists of metal backup options with three different variants of the Trezor Keep Metal.
Trezor CEO, Matěj Žák, highlighted the importance of security, privacy, and usability in self-custody. He noted that over Bitcoin's history, more than $4 billion in Bitcoin and other digital assets have been stolen from exchanges and custodians.
The Trezor Safe 3 is a hardware wallet designed to help individuals secure their digital assets and is available in four colors.
To mark their 10-year anniversary, Trezor introduced a special edition of this wallet, the Trezor Safe 3 Bitcoin only, designed specifically for Bitcoin users.
For backup, Trezor offers the Trezor Keep Metal solutions in three versions. These are intended for safeguarding recovery seeds, especially useful if a hardware wallet is lost or damaged.
Žák emphasized Trezor's commitment to open source methods and their goal to simplify Bitcoin security for the general public.
