The Magical Crypto Friends, a collaboration between Litecoin creator Charlie Lee, Blockstream CSO Samson Mow, angel investor WhalePanda, and Tari Labs co-founder Riccardo Spagni, have revealed the dates for the first ever Magical Crypto Conference VR (MCCVR 2020), the first Bitcoin conference hosted completely in a virtual reality setting.

MCCVR 2020 will take place on September 25th and 26th from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time and allow the Bitcoin community to enter and explore the Magical Crypto world together with industry professionals, thought leaders, and Bitcoin enthusiasts. More than a dozen unique virtual reality rooms await conference attendees with spectacular sceneries.

In two lecture halls, attendees will be able to enjoy various Bitcoin-focused talks and panels featuring high-profile speakers such as Blockstream CEO Adam Back, SideShift.ai founder Andreas Brekken, and CoinKite CEO Rodolfo Novak. There will be a grand lobby for visitors to spend time and chat as well as uniquely crafted islands designed by the event’s sponsors.

“The pandemic won’t keep us from creating an amazing experience and delivering top quality Bitcoin content this year,” said INX investor WhalePanda. “We can’t wait to spend two eventful days in VR with bitcoiners from around the world before we take MCC back to real life with MCC 2021 in New York.”

VR headsets are optional and attendees can simply enter the Magical Crypto world using their web browser. Those who do own a VR headset will be able to fully immerse themselves in the virtual reality experience of this year’s Magical Crypto Conference.

Tickets for MCCVR 2020 will go on sale in the coming weeks.
