Strategy repurchased $174 million of its STRC preferred stock and acquired 950 Bitcoin for $75.7 million during the week ended September 20th, according to a Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 21st.

Company founder and chairman Michael Saylor confirmed the totals in a September 21st X post, reporting that Strategy now holds 846,000 Bitcoin and $6.09 billion of USD assets.

The Bitcoin purchase priced the 950 coins at an average of $79,670 each, bringing Strategy's total holdings to 846,000 Bitcoin acquired for $63.8 billion at an average cost basis of $75,416 per Bitcoin.

STRC, formally Strategy's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock, is a preferred share class the company uses to raise cash against a $100 reference price.

The repurchase covered 1,771,238 STRC shares, or roughly $98.24 each, a discount to that reference price.

Strategy reported no sales under its at-the-market share programs and issued no new shares during the period, funding both transactions entirely from cash on hand.

The company's USD Reserve stood at $5.04 billion and its USD Cash at $1.05 billion as of September 20th.

Strategy also reported $875.1 million of remaining capacity under its preferred stock buyback authorization and $1.0 billion under its MSTR common stock buyback program, both unused during the period.

In a September 21st X post, investor Mark Harvey observed that Strategy has repurchased at least as much Bitcoin as it has sold so far this quarter, calling holdings flat quarter over quarter.

By Harvey's own count, one more Bitcoin purchase this quarter would mark a 24th consecutive quarter of holdings growth, though Strategy has not confirmed that streak figure itself.
