
Strive purchased 2,000 Bitcoin between September 28th and October 2nd at an average price of $84,422 per Bitcoin, inclusive of fees and expenses, according to a Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on October 5th.

Strive Chairman and CEO Matt Cole put the total cost at $169 million in an October 5th X post.
The purchase lifted Strive's holdings to 29,462 Bitcoin, up from 27,462 Bitcoin a week earlier.
Cole reported that 61.5% of the capital raised came from SATA, Strive's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, while warrant exercises generated $56.7 million.
SATA shares outstanding rose by 1,304,902 to 13,498,082 during the week, the filing showed.
Shares underlying Strive's traditional warrants fell by 2,100,100 to 23,249,706.
Cash and cash equivalents increased to $284.7 million as of October 2nd, up from $248.8 million a week earlier.
The filing also included preliminary, unaudited results for the third quarter, during which Strive acquired 8,137 Bitcoin at an average cost of $78,885 per Bitcoin.
As of September 30th, the company held 28,000 Bitcoin with a fair value of $2.34 billion, based on a Bitcoin price of $83,577.
Strive reported a BTC Yield of 18.5% for the quarter, 63.2% for the year to date, and 99.4% over the past 12 months.
BTC Yield is a company-defined metric that measures the percentage change in Bitcoin held per share over a given period.
The company disclosed no outstanding debt and a SATA stated amount of $1.29 billion, with an annualized obligation of $168.2 million.
Strive's amplification ratio stood at 55.3% at quarter-end, a figure that, based on the filing's numbers, reflects SATA's stated amount relative to the value of its Bitcoin.
Strive stated that it believes Bitcoin is "attractively priced at current levels," and that management aims to lift the amplification ratio above 60% and hold it there while Bitcoin remains below $100,000.
The company added that it intends to remain debt-free.
Strive also disclosed a repurchase facility of up to $500 million for SATA, giving management flexibility to buy back the preferred shares from time to time.
The company continued to hold 505,000 shares of STRC, the perpetual preferred stock issued by Strategy, with a fair value of $50.2 million as of October 2nd.
