The Smarter Web Company PLC reported the purchase of additional Bitcoin under its existing long-term treasury framework, referred to as “The 10 Year Plan,” in a regulatory announcement dated January 22nd, 2026.

According to the disclosure, the company acquired 10 Bitcoin at an average price of £67,210 per coin (approximately $90,289), for a total consideration of £672,097. 

The transaction increased the company’s total Bitcoin holdings to 2,674 Bitcoin.

The company stated that, across all Bitcoin purchases to date, its average acquisition price is £82,800 per Bitcoin (approximately $111,232), with a cumulative investment of £221,405,866. 

It also reported a quarter-to-date Bitcoin yield of -0.46% on its treasury holdings.

The purchase was made in line with the company’s stated treasury policy, which includes ongoing Bitcoin acquisitions as part of its broader capital allocation strategy.

The Smarter Web Company operates a web services business providing web design, web development, and online marketing services. 

Its revenue model includes upfront project fees, annual hosting charges, and optional monthly marketing services. 

The company has indicated that it may pursue acquisitions to expand its client base or recurring revenue, subject to internal approval.

The company has accepted Bitcoin as a payment method since 2022 and has incorporated Bitcoin holdings into its treasury strategy.
