The White House will hold its first Crypto Summit on March 7th, bringing together industry leaders to discuss regulatory policies, stablecoin oversight, and Bitcoin’s role in the U.S. financial system.
The event will feature “prominent founders, CEOs, and investors from the crypto industry,” alongside members of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets, according to White House official David Sacks.

Sacks, appointed as the administration’s advisor on AI and crypto in December 2024, will chair the summit, with Bo Hines, executive director of the Working Group, overseeing its administration.
As part of his role, Sacks has been tasked with developing a regulatory framework for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency while addressing concerns over technology sector policies.
The administration has previously expressed interest in positioning the U.S. as a leader in digital assets, and the summit is expected to shape upcoming policy directions.
While the full agenda has not been released, discussions are expected to focus on stablecoin regulation and potential legislation surrounding a strategic Bitcoin reserve—two major areas of regulatory interest.
